The Construction of a Feminized Adolescent: A Case Study of Institutional Discourse through Speech Act Analysis

A recently released proclamation about the measure towards phenomenon of ‘adolescent's feminization’ from Ministry Education China has raised public controversy and performs as an instance institutional discourse that enables construction a new social identity. This paper is analysis carried out upon such entextualised transcript to investigate very question how institution constructs identity by discourse. In this sense, research critically adopts Norton Hall' theory construct further addressed through lens entextualisation. Specifically, case studied approach speech act analysis, involving locutionary act, illocutionary perlocutionary act. study will be presented mode integrated authorization discourse, with special regard feminism.
